Hair, Hair Everywhere
I think I’m really going to miss my hair.
I’ve had long hair forever. The shortest I’ve ever had it was shoulder length, when I was in elementary school, and I remember feeling upset when I saw how short it had been cut. Last Friday I was planning on making the chop and donating my hair to Locks of Love. My friends came into town so I never made the appointment, and as I admire my long hair in the mirror, I’m partial to waiting a little longer.
I know I’m doing this for a good cause, but I may never be able to stand my hair being this long again, so I’m going to try to do something to it every day and enjoy our final weeks together. Maybe once I see my mom’s hair this weekend (she cut hers two weeks ago) I will be inspired!
New cut date is scheduled for the end of July.
